PTD Digital was founded out of a genuine passion for security, and has since transformed into a provider of cutting-edge tech-based services that prioritize safety and peace of mind for clients across the Bahamas. Our founder, who combines the expertise of an avid banker with the technical acumen of an electrical engineer, has a rich background in security processes. In 2001, at the young age of 21, he embarked on his journey in the CCTV industry, focusing initially on remote pet monitoring through the x10.com system. This was a time before the P2P technology revolution, when setting up devices required static IP addresses and manual port openings for remote access. The process of capturing footage was labor-intensive, often involving cumbersome VCR recordings. Despite these challenges, his forward-thinking vision for security technology was unwavering, laying the groundwork for the innovative solutions that PTD Digital provides today. His early experiences not only shaped his understanding of the industry but also fueled his commitment to advancing security technology for a safer future.
